The Singing Trombone

This recording features Jay Friedman playing Bordogni (Rochut) études and orchestral excerpts. The entire CD is unaccompanied, giving students a perfect opportunity to hear the resonance and clarity of Mr. Friedman's performance.

The liner notes (another feature unavailable on most digital services!) offer extensive thoughts from Mr. Friedman about his approach to étude preparation, excerpt study, and trombone playing more generally.
